5 Strategies for Mental Wellness

Mental health is an important part of our overall wellbeing. It’s essential to take care of your mental health just like you would your physical health. Here are five strategies for improving and maintaining mental wellness:

1) Exercise: Regular exercise helps reduce stress, improve mood, increase energy levels and boost self-esteem. Aim to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day such as walking, running, or cycling.

2) Eat Healthy Foods: Eating a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables can help keep your mind healthy by providing the nutrients it needs to function properly. Avoid processed foods high in sugar or saturated fat which can cause fatigue and low moods over time.

4) Connect with Others & Socialize: Spending quality time with friends & family members has been shown to be beneficial for our emotional well-being so try setting aside some dedicated socializing time each week even if it's just virtual right now!
